Language, as we all know, is the platform for most of our communication. Without it we would be isolated, unable to express our emotions, our needs, our desires. Human relationships need language to function.

Globalization and increasing mobility have given rise to the need to speak other languages, but also to have a common denominator. This is English. No other language is as important for international business, political decisions, and communication between people of different cultures. Though not the world’s most spoken language in terms of numbers, it is nevertheless the most widely spoken language. In a nutshell: English is a language that opens doors, a language we have to know if we want to climb the career ladder, broaden our horizons, or simply converse with foreigners.

The majority of people are not able to learn English (or any other foreign language, for that matter) on their own. They need trained professionals to guide and coach them. Professionals who will not only teach them the mechanics of the language, but who will also motivate them to learn and take responsibility for their learning. Professionals who take students’ individual learning styles into account and expose them to new concepts. Professionals who are constantly striving to broaden their own level of knowledge and increase their own cultural awareness.

• Módulo I .- Fundamentos gramaticales

• Componentes del lenguaje: Partes de la narrativa.

 

• Módulo II.- Desarrollo de habilidades

• Sistemas del lenguaje: Escritura,
• Lectura de comprensión: Comprensión auditiva,
• Expresión oral: Fonología.

 

• Módulo III .- Conocimiento del idioma

• Teorías del origen del lenguaje: Familias de lenguas,
• Historia del Inglés: Características del lenguaje,
• Clasificación del lenguaje: Estructura del lenguaje,
• Teorías del aprendizaje: Principios de metodología,
• Factores del lenguaje: Competencias del lenguaje.

 

• Módulo IV.- Enfoque en el proceso de aprendizaje

• El contexto del alumno: El ámbito del profesor, Diseño de syllabus,
• Plan de lección: Actividades en el aula, Manejo de grupo,
• Retroalimentación: Evaluación.

 

Requisitos

Entrevista con el coordinador del programa, 550 puntos en TOEFL o equivalente y carta de motivos.
